As an avid fan of Formula 1, Bas Jaburg has always been fascinated by the high-speed world of motorsports. With a background in design and a passion for racing, Jaburg has spent years creating stunning artworks that capture the thrill and excitement of F1.

Recently, Jaburg was given the opportunity to showcase his talents at the Dutch Grand Prix Founders Lounge at the Zandvoort Grand Prix Circuit in the Netherlands. The event was held in honor of the legendary drivers who have competed in the Dutch Grand Prix over the years, and Jaburg was tasked with creating three exceptional artworks to be displayed in the Founders Lounge.

The first of these artworks was a tribute to Gerhard Berger and Teo Fabi, the first  securing a historic win at the Mexican Grand Prix in 1986. Jaburg chose to depict their Benetton BMW B186 F1 car, which was a dominant force in the 1986 season. With its sleek lines and bold colors, the Benetton BMW was a perfect subject for Jaburg's artistic style.

The second artwork was a depiction of Alain Prost's McLaren MP4/2C Porsche, which helped him secure the World Driver's Championship in 1986. This iconic car was known for its speed and handling, and Jaburg captured these qualities perfectly in his artwork.

Finally, Jaburg created a piece featuring the Lotus 98T of Ayrton Senna, which brought him a record nine poles and two wins during the 1986 season. With its distinctive yellow livery and advanced aerodynamics, the Lotus 98T was a formidable machine, and Jaburg's artwork perfectly captured its power and grace.

Overall, Jaburg's three artworks were a huge hit at the Dutch Grand Prix Founders Lounge, and they helped to celebrate the rich history of Formula 1 at the Zandvoort Grand Prix Circuit. His attention to detail and passion for motorsports were evident in each piece, and his talent as a designer was on full display. We can't wait to see what he creates next!
